Department of Information Systems offers a broad array of coursework where undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of digital forensics, secure network design, intrusion detection and incident response. Students learn how to protect data, gather and examine digital evidence, perform security risk assessments and study computer and network forensics procedures.
Our students who undertake this degree field develops special expertise in the information security arena. They learn how to go about protecting and defending information systems by ensuring their integrity, authentication and confidentiality.
Studying Information Systems at postgraduate level involves looking at how information and communications technology can be used to achieve strategic goals.
